I'm referring mainly to the development of RAW files rather than pixel level/raster editing and adjustments.

Easy method for saving, copying, and pasting settings across two or multiple RAW images (AP approach is awkward, requiring multiple tab settings to be saved individually).Impulse noise reduction - convenient for reducing 'salt and pepper' type noise (nothing similar in AP).Sharpening options - Unsharp Mask and RL Deconvolution.

Clipped shadow and highlight indicator usable at any time in the workflow (available only in AP Develop Persona).Adjustments in L*a*b* space (I believe that AP works only in RGB).Optional methods for adjusting the tone curves (finer control of the curve).More versatile white-balance control (colour picker can apply in various sizes of pixel blocks to average a small area).Support for Pentax pixel-shift RAW files (none in AP).Certain algorithms are better for noisy images). Selectable algorithms for demosaicing (e.g., Amaze, RCD, DCB, IGV, LMMSE, and pair-wise combinations.More refined shadow and highlight adjustment (AP seems to 'wash out' the image slightly).Blown highlight reconstruction, including colour propagation. While each program has its strengths, I find the following features in RAWTherapee (RT) to be particularly notable: Curious in what’s lacking vs therapee?Good question.
